Socorro Dive Adventure

If you're into big animal encounters this is the trip for you. Socorro is best known for the wonderful encounters with giant pacific manta rays, where the mantas are incredibly curious and friendly, coming right up to divers. This isn't all you will see during a liveaboard yacht trip to Socorro, there are up to ten species of sharks including Whale Sharks, schooling Hammerheads,Silkies, Oceanic Whitetips, Silvertips, Galapagos Sharks, and Tiger Sharks. The Dolphins of Socorro are just as curious as the Mantas and will swim right up to divers. This trip is also during the annual Humpback Whale migration, giving us a good chance for encounters.

Itinerary

March 30
Complimentary photo and video workshop at SeeCreatures Cabo San Lucas. 8pm boarding.

March 30
Traveling and relaxing at sea. It’s a one day run out to the socorro islands. Cocktail hour. Sunsets. Arrive at San Benedicto Island by evening.

April 1 - 5
Over five full dive days, you will be able to experience some of our favourite sites such as El Canyon, the Boiler, Red Rocks, Roca Partida, Cabo Pearce, Punta Tosca and Roca Oneal. We will do our best to provide 4 dives a day subject to other dive boats being onsite, weather and only 3 dives on the day of mandatory inspection by the Mexican navy. Expect to see the friendliest giant mantas in the world, bottlenose dolphins, up to 12 species of sharks and loads of fish.

April 6
Early morning voyage back to Cabo San Lucas. Great time to look back on all your photos and videos, connect with new friends or simply relax during the journey back.

April 7
Disembark at 8:30am in Cabo.
