Edelrid Swift Protect Pro Dry 8.9mm
The first dynamic single rope with a sheath that includes aramid, for markedly increased cut resistance. Thanks to a special processing method, the Swift Protect Pro Dry remains dynamic. Despite reinforcement with aramid and the overall higher sheath content, the impact force remains within the required standard. These characteristics make the Swift Protect Pro Dry the ideal lead climbing rope and the perfect companion for alpine climbing and mountaineering.

Edelrid Eagle Lite Protect Pro Dry 9.5mm
Based on the proven construction of the EAGLE LITE, we have developed a rope that is particularly robust and is still suitable for sport climbing and projecting routes. To this end, we use Protect technology, which incorporates high-strength aramid fibers into the sheath using a specially developed braiding process. This technology and the adjustment of other production parameters strengthen the sheath and increase the rope's cut resistance. For a particularly compact and fine sheath structure, the EAGLE LITE PROTECT PRO DRY is processed on a braiding machine with 48 bobbins, which has a positive impact on handling and abrasion resistance. These features make the EAGLE LITE PROTECT PRO DRY a reliable companion on demanding multi-pitch routes and big-wall adventures when climbing with single rope and additional tag line, where necessary.

Bluewater Icon 9.1mm
The Icon single rope is designed to be a great wearing skinny rope. The problem with most skinny ropes is overall performance is diluted when chasing a minimum diameter and weight. They really are not designed with the user’s best interest – safety and longevity in mind. The Icon has a 35% sheath mass with a tight braid so the rope does not become floppy and has less drag which means less abrasion from running across rock. Try an Icon as your next skinny rope.
