After the experience of the GIGIO, we have applied the idea of the end-of-use indicator to the new OTTO from profession Canyon .

The micro-holes around the large hole not only cool the metal and thus heat the rope less, but are also a parameter for judging the safety of the device. If one of the holes disappears due to wear, the device must be taken out of use.

The OTTO and the GIGIO from Professione Canyon are the only EN 15151-2: 2012 descenders that give users the possibility of assessing the wear and tear for their own safety.
