To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Must be at least 10 years old (10-11 year olds are taught on a private or semi-private basis only)
You will need a scuba quality mask, fins, and snorkel for the class. Rentals are available for $40 for the entire course, or you can purchase student packages starting at $125.
Whether you have your own group or simply prefer to learn one on one, private classes are available to suit your needs.
